These cute wine glasses are perfect for entertaining guests. Each guest can write their name in chalk on the stem so they don’t mix up their glasses.
Here’s what you need to make them: Black chalk paint, blue painting tape and either a sponge tip brush or a regular paint brush. I used the sponge tip brush and it worked great!
First tape off where you want the paint to be. I left about a quarter inch space between the rim of the wine glass and where the paint started. Then paint the glass with the chalk paint. (I did 2 coats of paint on each glass) As you can see in the picture, it looks kind of bumpy when you first put the paint on, but as it drys the paint smooths out.
Then you have to let the glasses dry for 24-48 hours. I left mine on paper plates for 48 hours.
Then you will bake them in the oven at 300 degrees for 30 minutes. Let them cool off and you are ready to entertain! Just have each guest write their name on the stem of the glass with chalk.
When you are finished with your party, you can just wipe the chalk off with a paper towel and they are dishwasher safe. So fun and easy!!
